Have you ever noticed Proverbs 3:5-6 at the top of the blog? Well, this is one of my favorite verses in the Bible!

Are you facing something today that logically seems to be an impossible circumstance? Maybe the more you think about it, you can't possibly see how you will be able to come up with the money to pay your mortgage this month. Maybe you have had something happen recently and now you don't think your marriage will be able survive. Maybe you have a very sick loved one and have worried yourself senseless and can only imagine the most awful outcome.
I don't know about you, but I, myself, am awful to worry about something until I "make a mountain out of a molehill." You know what? That is why I LOVE this verse! It reminds me that no matter what seems impossible in MY mind, what I cannot begin to understand, that ANYTHING is possible if I will just give it to God. If I will just put my trust in the Lord, live for Him and acknowledge Him in all that I do, He WILL direct my paths and take care of everything FOR ME. Goodness knows, we can't do it all on our own! The same goes for you! God loves us all just the same!
As you begin this new week, I hope you will remember this verse. Maybe go to the link and print and frame it as a constant reminder to acknowledge the Lord in ALL that you do, not just on Sunday. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic week! Remember- no worrying! Just give it to God and let Him take care of it for you. He will lead you in the direction you need to go... :)
Do you have a verse that really helps to encourage you? I would love to hear what it is!

Love it! These last couple weeks I have been practicing this more and more. The verse I always rely on is Matthew 6:33. It's amazing the feeling of content that comes in the midst of chaos, the more I trust Him :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for rewriting this for us on your phone! It was worth it! xoxo I HAVE noticed that verse on your heading and think it is wonderful! I also rely on Romans 3:5 "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement today! xo, Reannah
This is my absolute favorite scripture!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Crystal,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the scripture graphic. Unfortunatley, I too am a worry-wart, but I must say this scripture will certainly bring things into perspective and allow you to release it all to God. My favorites are: "Cast your cares on HIM for HE cares for you" (I Peter 5:7). I even put my name in where it says "you". I also like encouraging myself with this one, too - "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26).
Just letting you know you were awarded The Versatile Blogger award today on my blog. Feel free to stop by and check it out :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice post
ReplyDeleteLove this verse :) My mother-in-law wrote it on a floral card when I was struggling with parenting {one of the many times!} and I've had it on my fridge ever since! It's right next to Jeremiah 29:11. Happy week to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to share this verse, not once, but twice. I believe I needed to be reminded of that truth. I worry about money, finances and paying the mortgage all the time.
ReplyDeleteI often forget to turn to His Word with my worries.
