Count Your Many Blessings, literally, with this easy Wipe-off Blessings Board!

As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, this is a perfect, easy project that can be your family's daily reminder of how blessed you really are! In fact, I don't see a reason why you couldn't leave it up as a reminder throughout the year!
This definitely does not have to be a complicated project. If you want to, you can use whatever fabric you have on hand, or even gift wrap as your background. You can decorate the frame however you like, whether you want to embellish it with with sequins and glitter, or glue some little buttons or table jewels around it. Make it YOU and make it fun!
Sadly, too often we forget how blessed we really are... Enjoy :)

Its the Saturday before Thanksgiving?! Can it already be?! Tips of the day and count your many blessings!

  • Prepare make ahead dishes today. This weekend, make as many dishes as you can that will freeze or refrigerate well. Some that freeze particularly well are cranberry sauce, casseroles, cheese sauces, and piecrusts. You can also go aheas and make your dressing and do everything except cooking it. Just freese it, then all you have to do is pop it in the oven also.
  • Dollar store run! Be sure you check your inventory of everything you will need to make doggie bags. Make a trip to the store to get plastic containers, foil, and plastic wrap. Also make sure you stock up on paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, camera batteries, and paper plates and utensils.
Doing these little things this weekend will definitely make the big day a lot less stressful and more enjoyable. And that's what the holidays are all about, right? Enjoying good food, the good company of friends and family. And let's not forget to remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving this year. Be thankful for everything you have been blessed with. If you don't have much money, that's ok. That isn't what this time of year is really about.
Remember that there will ALWAYS be someone who has more than you, and there will always be someone who has so much less, so make it a point to count your blessings this year. Don't forget to remember of all of the soldiers who cannot be at home with their families because they are fighting for our great country. If nothing else enjoy your day for them.  Have a wonderful weekend all of you fabulous homemakers! :)

  XOXO~
