DIY Valentines Decor Dry Erase Board

I just wanted to share this fast, easy idea for a little DIY Valentines Day decor using things you already have on hand. One thing I love about these little dry erase boards is that they are so easy to change for each season or holiday.

Here is what you need:
  • Picture frame
  • pretty scrapbooking paper or small piece of fabric for your background (make sure it is light enough for you to be able to see what you write on the board)
  • a piece of fabric for your rose (about 1 or 2 inches by about 14-16 inches depending on how large you want your flower)
  • velcro dot (if you want to be able to remove your rose to replace it with something else if you change your background.
First, cut out your paper or fabric to the size of your frame.

Insert it the way you would a picture.

Make your rose. You can use the tutorial here.

After you make your rose, you can use a little velcro dot if you do not want to permanently glue it to your frame.

That's all there is to it. Now you can leave little love notes, put your favorite love quote, or just use this as cute decor in a little girls room.
